Azar is a mobile application for Android and iOS devices that allows users to chat with people from over 190 different countries. With over 300 million downloads worldwide, Azar is currently one of the most popular communication apps on the market.
Similar to Tinder and other dating apps, Azar allows users to set a location radius, age, gender, and other settings to match with people. If a user is interested in someone, they simply need to swipe in order to match.
Unlike dating apps, Azar isn't specifically meant for dating. Many users it in order to learn about other people, cultures, and make friends from around the world on their mobile device.

This social application instantly connects strangers in real time. Upon opening the application, users are presented with someone who wants to chat. Options for video chat and text are available. Fun filters and graphics are also available to add a bit of whimsy to the chat.
To move onto another stranger, all it takes is a finger swipe. For more control, the application has options to narrow down who the user connects to. Users can control the region and gender of the stranger. "Thumbs up" can be collected from strangers as well to indicate that they enjoyed the chat.
