It is a lite and more advanced version of the Canara Bank Internet Banking App. CANDI is meant to offer an even easier way for customers of Canara Bank to access services with the vision of “all services in one light app.” Its name, CANDI, is short for Canara Digital. Customers can use it to access multi-mode transfer of funds, payment of loans, deposits, making scheduled payments, integrated bill pay, and several other functions. In short, this is a lite app that does everything that customers would need to do online.

Getting Started with CANDI App

Seeing that this is a lite app, you only need 10MB of space to install it. Download the app from the App Store or Google Play. To activate the app, you will need to enter your registered mobile number when you launch the app. Once you enter the number, click “Next” and you will be directed to a page where you have to enter the One-Time Passcode (OTP) sent to your phone number for verification.

You will be prompted to create a 5-digit passcode to protect your app and enable login into the app. The app will prompt that you allow permission to access your location and gallery among other locations on your phone. After that, you will create a 6-digit PIN to help validate all your financial transactions.

Click “SET NOW” and your app will be ready to use. Enter your account number and your debit card details and start using the app. The interface of the app is user-friendly, so you can find your way to any page you want with ease.

CANDI has all the essential banking features you need to make almost all the transactions you need. You can manage your account and that of your beneficiaries and even initiate fund transactions from all the accounts. You can access important details about your account, such as deposits, loan details, and account statements. The app shows transaction history, which you can check at any time.

You can even request to have a checkbook from the app or even open a new account through Digitally Your Account feature. The app makes it easy for users to pay cashless. You can send money directly from the app or by scanning QR codes of the stores you want to pay.

Should You Get CANDI?

CANDI is a good app. It ensures that you never have to visit the banking halls again unless you have a major problem with the account. It is light and works smoothly most of the time. However, there are times that the app lags and does not perform as you’d expect of an advanced version of an older app. The app might fail to respond and get stuck on a single page. If these minor issues are addressed and the app performs without distractions, the app is good.
